About us
"The time is now! You control your own destiny, therefore you can and you will succeed." - K. Boyd

Our Mission
The Read Write Centers (RWC) aims to positively impact communities of color, specifically the African-diaspora, in the areas of adult education, re-entry, mentoring, job preparation and entrepreneurship. RWC strives to prepare adults, both young and older, to take control of their own destiny. The organization believes in second and third chances; and offers the community members the opportunity to learn and explore in an effort to find the best versions of themselves.

Who We Serve
RWC programs serve young adults ages 14 - 17 and adults 18 - 45. from various backgrounds and life situations. We offer support to the teens trying to find their way through life without a roadmap. We also work with older adults who may have gotten sidetracked and need help getting back on course. RWC is a resource that enables its members a chance to bounce back and define their own success in this world.
